For Lent I decided to not give up anything this year, instead taking up something. I decided to spend time each night reading some books I have been wanting to read but that have just been collecting dust. Keep in mind these are books such as "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World" and "Big Girls Don't Whine". I am so focused on schoolwork, reading textbooks, writing papers, practicing, working out, memorizing scripts, etc that I forget about these things, and hopefully making this a habit during Lent will help me to make time for it in the future.
